Terms & Conditions


BOOKING

A minimum of 30% deposit required to confirm your booking. (Deposits are non-refundable). Remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to the event date.

Any booking made within 14 days of the event requires full payment.

If full payment is not made at least 14 days before the event date, Elegant Decors NZ holds no responsibility to provide services and has no liability in this circumstance.

Payments for any last-minute add-on items (if agreed) must be paid immediately.

BACKDROPS AND PROPS

Backdrops and any other props (Light numbers, custom signage, cake tables, cutouts, florals, etc.) provided must be returned to Elegant Decors NZ.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

It is the client’s responsibility to cover the cost of any loss or damage of items provided by Elegant Decors NZ. The cost of lost/damaged items must be paid immediately.

Setup done by Elegant Decors NZ must not be moved without discussing it with Elegant Decors NZ, or additional charges may apply.

SETUP AND ACCESS

On the day of setup, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue space is ready.

Elegant Decors NZ will not move tables, chairs, or furniture to make space for setup.

Access to the venue must be available at agreed delivery and collection times.

It is advised to allow at least 2 hours prior to the event starting time unless discussed otherwise.

A flat and even surface is needed to set up backdrops and other props (indoor and outdoor). If the exact setup location at the venue is not provided, Elegant Decors NZ will set up where it fits best.

If the venue is upstairs and has more than 10 stairs, Elegant Decors NZ must be advised by the client as some of our backdrops and props are very heavy. So we may require an additional staff.

CANCELATION CHARGES

SHOULD YOU HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING, FOLLOWING CHARGES WILL APPLY

Within 30 days of your event – 50% of total cost

Within 14 days of your event – 100% of the total cost

OTHER CONDITIONS

Elegant Decors NZ will not be held responsible if under some circumstances they are unable to attend your event. These circumstances are, but not limited to, natural disasters, extremely severe weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns. In an event like this Elegant Decors NZ will get in touch with the client ASAP. In these instances, our liability will be limited to refunding amounts paid by the client.

Client may wish to keep the balloons.
